3 Day Weekend

Parent Teacher conferences means we get to spend a friday afternoon lounging in the sun on the beach.  Heavenly!  We made our way to Carpenteria despite the distance and it did not disappoint - AGAIN!  Loved every moment.  Considering we still have no air conditioner in our car, the windows were down most of the way and the music was blasting - somehow this lulled Ryan to sleep on the way out there.  That boy just loves his sleep.  But I just love how he often has everything folded up or tucked together; he sleeps much like his father.

Saturday morning the kids vegged for a bit in front of the computer playing Nick Jr. games.

The boys were stoked for their second game and so were we.

After the games I headed home to change for my girls night out.  Nikki found a 50 Shades parody and suggested a night out.  It was hilarious!!!!  Nothing like I expected and I'm glad.

Who would have thought a night out in Culver City would have been so classy.  The food was divine and the company quite enjoyable.

Kiddos

We love kids especially when they entertain one another so well!

 Jackson's baseball fundraiser was to sell a box of 60 chocolates.  He came home from school, hung up his backpack and went into the playroom to grab some paper and markers.  He made a sign and took it outside to display for passing cars.  Considering our wind lately, he decided to then make his way into the garage in search of a piece of cardboard.  But then, he realized he had another problem, the sun.  Again he was on the hunt but this time for an umbrella.  I love the way this kid thinks and takes action.  Sadly, they spent 45 minutes outside and received not a single sale.  Little did I know the picture of the kids on my instragram would help him sell 3/4 of his box.  Jackson was completely in charge of the money and when I asked him for it yesterday so we could turn it in, he was right on - down to every cent.  I was super impressed by that because I know he bought some for himself and his siblings.

Ryan loves, loves, loves math and has been so proud of his ability to count to 100 by 5's, 2's and 10's.  He was over the moon when he came home from the assembly with his math medal!

Mr. Cole sported his new outfit from Aunt Bri the other day and I was just reminded of how much I love spending time with this kid.  He really is a hoot!
