Monday was stunningly beautiful. I wore a skirt to school and we even help class outside.

This morning we woke up to a chilly one! Once again I pulled out the long sleeves, pants, and jackets and prepared the kids for a cold, cold day.

Although my original plan to hold class outside again was abandoned, it was still a beautiful day. The clouds were intriguing and I don't doubt the snow and hail in Acton was stunningly beautiful.

Oh how I love CALIFORNIA!

Days?Week?Weeks?Month?

When will this little girl walk - what's your guess? When I woke up, I thought NEVER. Then today, after I clipped her nails, she wanted to stand up. Yep, on her own. Then she wanted to stand. I made such a fuss, she clapped for herself and wanted to do it again. Then, she started walking towards me. I yelled for Andrew and he just missed her taking FOUR steps towards me. We tried to have J record it, but he wanted to click and take pictures instead. So I tried, but by then she was getting tired. This is the most she has done on her own.... let's wait and see...

Poorly Documented Monthly Visit

My grandma (Juana, ita-juana, grandma, mom) has decided that they want to try to visit once each month. For our March visit, I took very few photos. It was a crazy weekend for me and we weren't able to do all I had planned. Everyone was so sad we didn't make the hike - yeah, so sad...

But nonetheless, these visits are very special to us so I had to snap a few during breakfast Saturday morning.

Speaking of Saturday, I can't express enough just how much we hate the wind. It should not be possible for wind to push this gigantic hoop away from the wall. Ahhhh ALLERGIES!!!!

Spring Show

Considering I had to work, I don't have any commentary to offer regarding Jackson's Spring Show. But I would like to thank my mom, Juana, and Ito for attending his show!

Exhausted but still NOT DONE!

Andrew has been working like crazy for the last two weeks. These floors have been such a process but they are SO worth it. We have dealt with sticky, nasty, dirty floors, one bathroom, one shower, fridge in the dining area, tools everywhere, a busy daddy, thin set explosions, and so on - BUT MAN we wouldn't trade it. The best part is we don't pay for any of this.... ahhhhh!!

We have ALWAYS hated these lights and really, they gave off very little light. I am madly in love with the new ones.

And our controversial bathroom - oh how I love this too. This picture really doesn't capture it all, but trust me, it's gorgeous and refreshing. It's a nice little punch, ok, a big punch of color, but we love it! And look at the floor - THANKS ANDREW!

I forgot to take pictures of the kitchen and I am too lazy at this point to do it all..... till next time.

High School Flashback

It was 2006, June I believe, and it was an instant bond. Michalle and I met and fell in love, in love with our love of JEANS.
More history... ok, 2002 Jena shared her love of jeans with me. Love at first sight... umm, I'm not so sure. In a way yes, I loved the jeans, but I did not love the price. So that day I purchased the cheapest, expensive jeans = $90 Red Engine's. Since then, I have grown quite fond of Seven's and while pregnant, Citizens. Yes, I even had maternity designer jeans.
BUT THIS IS HOW I DO IT.... (well since kids that is)..... EBAY!
Ok so back to the present - Michalle and I took Tina under our wing to convert her to a long, happy life in designer jeans. As you can see from the photo below, Tina really is suffering in the wardrobe department. Now she may say she didn't plan this outfit, but I swear I picked her up like this!!

So off to Macy's we went - we SO wished we had all the time in the world to drive to Topanga, but we did what we could. Tina entered a room with pounds and pounds of jeans draped over he arms, and left knowing which stunning jeans will be hers - Once she doesn't get outbid on EBAY!
When we finished the conversion process, we wandered the mall. Yes, we were back in the day - high school students wandering on a friday night. Well, it wasn't friday but it felt like it.

Ryan Turns Two

Yes he turned TWO FEBRUARY 15th, but we had a tough time getting together any sooner than last week. But it's ok - because again Valeri did not disappoint. Oh how I love her photos. Imagine how cute my life would look if she came to document each day!

Ahh Sunny Saturday

For one that has always been partial to cold, stormy days, my kids have really turned me into a sun lovin' gal! I mean seriously, it's just that much easier to entertain when the weather is pleasant.
