I have been trying to upload a video and it won't work. I don't understand what is happening - but you guys are SO missing out. Last week my friend Giselle and I took our sons to an indoor play place. One of my students, from last year, works there and so we finally packed up and went. It was SO much fun and I can totally see spending hours there when the kids get older! But as it was, we were there for a little over an hour!!

Our Vegas Golf Trip

*Something you should all be aware of is that we played best ball and Andrew and I used 13 of my strokes - or whatever they are called! Also, this could not have been possible if Shay Anderson did not allow me to borrow her clubs - I owe you one!

Belated

Dad's birthday video has proven I am not as high-tech as I would like to be. You see at the end of this clip, you should see dad thanking Rob & Sharon for his gift. But you don't. Why you ask... cause I am lame and when I downloaded some stuff onto my computer, I forgot to fast forward the tape to the end. So needless to say, but I will say it anway, Easter was recorded over the end of dad's birthday! So sad! Well, enjoy what we have...

Goin' To The Chapel

One of the most exciting things I have ever done was getting married. I had a blast with almost every step and so I find it important to take this time to document one of my cousin Nicole's steps.... The Bridal Shower!

Easter

Considering Jackson can't walk yet, I didn't expect to do much this Easter regarding the normal traditions. I have to say, this Easter turned out to be a lot of fun and even though Jackson wasn't walking during the egg hunt, I still enjoyed watching him! It was incredible to see Andrew and Mark work together to make the hunt possible and it was peaceful just hanging out with family. Oh and the best part, Jackson slept in sacrament for the second time in his life - woo hoo! So as always, we had two celebrations, the first being at my parents and the later at the Andersons.

Luis and Francisco were having the burrito special at
their favorite cantina, when they heard this awful choking sound. They
turned to see this viejita (old lady) a few stools down turning
blue from wolfing down some menudo too fast.
Francisco said to Luis , "What do you say Ese shall we
help her?" "Well Yea" said Luis .
Francisco got up and walked over to the viejita and
asked, "Can you briffe" (breathe) she shook her head que no. "Can you
speak?" she shook her head no...
With that he helped her to her feet. Lifted up her skirt, pulled down
her drawers and licked her butt. She was so shocked, she coughed
up the piece of menudo and began to breathe with great relief.
Francisco turned to his friend Luis and said, "You see ese, you
see...that Hind Lick Maneuver works every time."

...because I found a way to get my videos off my camera and in my computer. So bare with me, you don't have to watch this one if you don't want to cause it's SO long. The videos in the future will be edited and in fact, you will be asking if they were done professionally!

In Honor of Dayna

It has been a productive morning for Jackson and I! I guess most mornings are productive, typically the afternoons are when I get tired! Playing catch, washing the dishes, eating breakfast, taking a shower, cleaning the house (well just the downstairs), writing to students and friends, playing the piano, walking to the park and up a mountain (running was last night Jena! :)), eating tofu (he prefers that over 3's baby food!), so on and forth.

My point is, we sure hope dad has been just as productive! The pictures below were taken last Saturday. As you can see, a lot still needed to be done. So I am hoping that Second St. looks slightly different today! Andrew was pretty excited because they were going to try to get the fence up - that will make a huge difference! It's all so exciting and so exhausting!




Dayna - I did try to make a video today, but I can't find a program on my computer. I think I will have to pay $30-!

It's Official...

We NEED a baby gate - or two. Jackson has been spending the last two weeks climbing up on EVERYTHING! He has become SO confidant that today he tackled the stairs. So I guess it is time... I hate those things!

On another note, Jackson is a true fan of music. Here he is having fun with the Jazz man at bisabuelos home! And to the right, Jackson is enjoying listening to my dad play the guitar!

I guess when you flip a house, boards tend to attack the face! You may now refer to Andrew as Scarface! As for the house, I learned from Jena that you should refer to your flip by the name of the street it is located. So, here is the progress on Second St.

On one last note, I had to throw this in. My dad made a comment about Jackson's VERY long nails, which I then proceeded to explain how incredibly difficult it is to cut them because the boy will not sit still. Let me just tell you, the adorable, peaceful moment ended as soon as I took it! But he stuck to it and got all ten fingers, I think. "A" for effort dad!
