One of the Best!

The morning started out well - the boys were in great moods and got ready fairly quickly. They started off their day with Papa and Grandma Nette and made their way over to the festival at their cousin's school. Which will explain Jackson's nose in later pictures!My grandparents came into town for the weekend so after naps, my dad went to get the boys from the Anderson's and then later brought them to our house where we had plans to meet with our friends around 5:30pm. It was PERFECT. Last year was a tough one being in Acton and all. It's a dark town and there aren't too many accesible neighborhoods. So this year we wanted no driving, just simple trick or treating. AND IT WAS! Everyone met up at our pool and we ate pizza together. Then - well, we TRIED for a group photo...

Mr. Ryan was the only one that stayed put - I wonder why...

It was great to have my grandparents out here to experience this with us - but it was a bummer that my mom couldn't make it this year because she was sick.

And we were off... the kids loved it! It was a climb, but it was worth every strain :)

Ryan was a stud as he hung out for the first quarter, then he did a bit of grunting and we laid him down in the back. He was out for the remainder of the outing.

We have a bit of a problem on our hands though - JACKSON needs some major life lessons! This boy lingers at each door waiting for his second or third piece of candy. These people continued to reward him, and so he continued to beg. We are going to have to work on this greedy behavior!

It was perfect - well almost, I shouldn't have walked around all day and ALL NIGHT in flip flops, bit mistake, just ask my ankles!!Little man was EXHAUSTED!And our big little man scored BIG TIME - do you see those full size bars!
