Friends are truly a blessing in ones life and I feel that I have always believed this to be true. But as of late, it means so much more to me when I think about the times these people are there for me, my kids, my family. The other day Lauren and I were on pick-up duty and in all, we had 17 kids, I believe. It's a crazy mad house but I love having each child as part of our lives.
I used to not experience guilt for not writing in a journal BECAUSE of my blog. It had become my journal and I was grateful for that. But as of late, I slack and it has become more of a photo dump rather than an accurate recording of the miracles, blessings and trials of our everyday. I must improve! With that said, here's my photo dump from our first baseball games a few weeks ago.
Jackson's game started first so we watched a bit of that before Ryan had to head over to his game. It's nice that their fields are side by side because I hate missing one or the other.
I loved seeing Jackson front and center listening to his coach taking it all in!
It has been about three years since the boys last played and so Ryan struggled batting that first game. Since then, he hasn't to use the t which is exciting because we knew he could do it.
Jackson had such a great sense the of the game from the start. We were impressed at the plays he made because his choices were right on.
We're so excited for this season!
