Just Like His Father

So today Jackson and Andrew came to help me get my classroom ready for the new year - AHHHHHHHHH!!! Anyway, when we got there, Jackson had just begun his 12-2 nap. Within minutes of arriving, he woke up. He WOULD NOT go back to sleep the entire time we were there. His face turned a red that I have never seen on him before, because he was so angry that we were trying to get him to go to sleep. I even walked with him to the office, carrying him in the "sure to go to sleep when tired" Snugglie, and still, he wouldn't sleep. We did it all, Tylenol for the teething, dummy for comfort, pat on the butt for rythmic motion, pacing around the room, NOTHING!!! So why is he like his father.... he IS NOT comfortable in the unfamiliar. He was so mad at one point, Andrew decided it was best for them to leave. So he got Jackson in the carseat, the screaming Jackson, and came back in the help me with something. Well, Jackson lasted another 15 minutes in the car, perfectly content, looking at his fascinating toes. So we concluded, he knows the car, he knows his toes, he finds comfort with the things he knows = he is his father!
