Knott's with the Andersons

Thursday morning the kids and I rushed around and took Jackson to school. Then the babies and I met up with Tina and Michalle at the park. After the park, I went to Walmart to pick up some more Christmas cards. Then off to preschool to pick up Jackson. We came straight home to eat lunch and by 12:31, we were out the door to pick up Andrew and head to Knott's Berry Farm.

Tori got real sick so she sent her kids with Annette, Cosmo, and Chris. It was SO much fun being together. Chris is the studliest uncle - he got a sub and spent the day with all our kids. He took the older ones on some rides while we went around Camp Snoopy with my kids and Zoe.

I was SO happy Tina let us use their double jogger - it was much needed on this journey... THANK YOU PHILLIPS!

The very first ride adults were not allowed to ride. Jackson did a great job but Ryan freaked out before the ride even started. That was just the beginning of his tantrums.

We took all three kids on this ride and Andi was for sure the bravest of them all. She shook like crazy each time the bus went down, but NEVER CRIED! The boys on the other hand FREAKED OUT - they screamed the entire time!

Ryan opted out on the next ride, but Andi, Zoe, and Jackson had a blast!

Andrew is such a SUCKER for these things - yes, we now have many more stuffed animals :(

The Mine Ride - the kids HATED it! It was so dark... NOT GOOD! Poor Zoe had to stick it out the entire time.

Maybe she knew she was going to hate it, she was trying to escape....

Once the kids were free of the mines, Jackson, Cosmo, Zoe and I headed to the log ride. Zoe was stoked to "get wet"!

We always need to find a way to get a group shot so Chris tested out the location for me. I thought these lanterns would be gorgeous in the picture, but it really seemed to just mess them up.

The last time we went to an amusement was this past summer - Magic Mountain.... There Andrew decided he could do the three-pointer game. Mind you, that is his forte, but he did disappoint. So as we watched people playing at Knott's, I told Andrew he was NOT to waste money on it. So instead, his father sponsored him. Ouch, not good.....

Andi so loves her uncle Chris! The two of them were enthralled with Andrew's basketball attempts.What you don't see though is the little girl that beat Andrew's score by two points - HILARIOUS!

Just stalling time....When planning our trip to Knott's, Andrew was the most excited about the Chicken Restaurant. We went to Knott's about five years ago, and all he remembered about it was the CHICKEN... BLA! So when the park closed at 7pm, we headed to stand in line for CHICKEN. For an hour or so, we waited, and waited.... While we waited:
Can we do anything without Jackson wanting to take over the role of PHOTOGRAPHER:Yep, he took all of those - ALL OF THEM! It was a great day, exhausting but so worth it for the memories. Thanks for taking us Papa and Gramma Nette, thanks for dealing with so many kids Chris, thanks for sending your kids Tori, thanks for the jogger Phillips - but we did miss you! It was worth all the fuss!
